Dear OGBC Membership,
Oscar Wilde said, “Success is a science, if you have the conditions, you get the result.” This could not be more evident when reflecting on our success with the Athlete Warrior Challenge.
We are blessed with hard working, motivated, and highly trained gymnasts, talented coaches with a great work ethic, and parents with unconditional support. These conditions came together in our signature event, AWC, resulting in overwhelming success.
Collectively, we hosted nearly 2,000 gymnasts from Michigan, Ohio and Canada and by all accounts the gymnasts and fans were pleased with our production. Gymnasts were provided a venue to shine and demonstrate their skills. Fans had a chance to share and celebrate as a community.
The Athlete Warrior Challenge’s success is a point of pride for the booster club. More importantly it is with gratitude that we thank everyone for set-up, 30 sessions, tear down (until 1:00 am) and for executing all the tiny details that made for a rewarding weekend of gymnastics.
One of our main missions is to support and promote competitive gymnastics. Athlete Warrior Challenge provides us the format while our members provide us the ability to fulfill this mission. Thank you for everything you do and did to support all OGA gymnasts.
