Dear OGBC Members,
We would like to extend our gratitude for all you did to make the 10th annual Athlete Warrior a huge success. This year our board was committed to providing a top notch experience for all of our athletes and their families while creating the best conditions for all of you to enjoy the meet.
Below are some of the highlights . . . . .
1. All 600 sign up genius work commitments filled in a little over two hours.
2. Set Up took only 3.5 hours.
3. Tear Down was done in just over 2.5 hours.
4. Our first year of no admission's fees was a great success
5. Visitors and competitors were complimentary of our hospitality and the organization of the meet by both OGA and OGBC.
6. As a bonus we also witnessed a beautiful proposal Saturday evening.
Throughout the weekend many of you inquired about free admissions and if this would impact OGBC dues in the future. The answer is no. We planned carefully so we would still have a financially healthy event and make the experience more enjoyable for our members, their families and our guests. Personally, I enjoyed watching the smiles emerge from our guests as they discovered that admissions were free.
Our goal has always been to create an inclusive environment where we can celebrate competitive gymnastics together. In my opinion, we accomplished this collective goal with flying colors this year.
Thank you again for coming together to ROCK the RED. It was an outstanding 10th anniversary.
