Fundraising and AWC Sponsorships
Hello Olympia Families!
I hope this finds you well and ready for the season to begin. I'm writing to you today to let you know where Olympia Gymnastics Booster Club (OGBC) stands financially. As we all have heard way too much since 2020, "thanks to COVID" we were unable to host AWC in 2021 which means no money came in to offset the costs for the meets most athletes participated in during the '20 - '21 season. Furthermore, we are all aware that the costs for everything have increased. Most importantly the meet entry fees for our athletes have increased 40%!
With that being said, the funds we normally have available to cover the athletes' fees in addition to the dues paid by you, the members, is not there. As a board we have thoroughly discussed our options while avoiding the ideas of having to come to y'all and ask you for more dues or cutting meets. We came up with fundraisers!
We will be offering several different fundraisers for you to help us gain the funds for our athletes' entry fees and coaches fees. The first one is asking you to obtain sponsorships for AWC. We are offering banners to be hung on the walls at MCC during AWC.
The first 10 families to bring in the $500 sponsorships will be rewarded with a setup or tear down removed from their AWC volunteer responsibilities. In addition to that for every $250 sponsorship will receive a $25 credit to their booster dues.

Attached you will find the form needed to solicit businesses and/or family and friends that may want to advertise or shout out to their favorite athlete. If you have any questions regarding the sponsorships, please contact Brad at bradkleinow@olympiabooster.com.
