Dear OGBC Members,
We would like to extend our gratitude for all you did to make the return of Athlete Warrior a huge success. This year our board was committed to providing a great experience for all of our athletes and their families and coaches while creating the best conditions for all of you to enjoy the meet.
Below are some of the highlights . . . . .
1. Set Up got started early and only took only 3.5 hours
2. Tear Down was done in just over 2.5 hours
3. Our first year of using Ticket Spicket was a great success
4. Visitors and competitors were complimentary of our hospitality and the organization of the meet by both OGA and OGBC
5. As a bonus we also had an amazing singer for our National Anthem, Jordan Obrecht
Personally, I enjoyed watching the smiles from our guests and athletes during competition and getting back to a sense of normalcy.
Our goal as a new board was to create a memorable event and an inclusive environment where we could celebrate competitive gymnastics together. In my opinion, we accomplished this goal with flying colors.
Thank you again for coming together to ROCK the RED! It was an amazing return of AWC.
